On Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 12:30 in the Brush Mountain Room of the Squires Student Center, the Virginia Space Grant Consortium(VSGC) will have a recruitment session where undergraduate and graduate student science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related majors are invited to attend and learn about our scholarship, fellowship and internship programs. Interested students will learn about undergrauduate research scholarships of up to $8,500, graduate research fellowship awards of $5,000 (renewable for one year), and $1,000 teacher education awards. Participants in this session will be able to meet current and form VSGC scholars and fellows. These awards are open to students who are U.S. citizens pursuing faculty-mentored research in any field of study with NASA relevance.
