Domestic students who have registered by the deadline date (May 13) typically receive lodging and airfare (or equivalent). Please review the information below regarding all travel and contact Susan Baltuch if you have any questions.
All airline tickets receipts must be submitted to Susan Baltuch no later than June 3, and need to include the complete itinerary as well as the cost of the ticket.
Students receiving any type of financial support (airline, mileage, housing, etc.) must sign a travel voucher before reimbursement can be made. These will be available at registration unless a housing receipt is needed. Reimbursement is always made to the student, even if the ticket was purchased by the university.
The prices are equivalent air fares including tax and airport fees. Please contact Susan Baltuch if the price is 15% over the listed fare. Contact Susan for any changes or questions about air fares:

Student housing has been arranged at the Eldorado Hotel, the Hilton Hotel and the La Fonda Hotel, and will be provided from Saturday, June 25, through the night of Thursday, June 30. Any stays outside these dates must be justified and approved bySusan Baltuch. Students registering after May 13 will be assigned housing on a space available basis only.
Also, there is a shuttle from Albuquerque to Santa Fe for $40/person round trip

Santa Fe, NM Open to: Students, Faculty Registration Deadline: 13 May 2011 (Student Deadline) Registration Website: http://vsp-rosebud.dls.ucar.edu/cedar/index.php ![]() Registration is now open for the 2011 joint CEDAR (Coupling, Energetics, and Dynamics of Atmospheric Regions) and GEM (Geospace Environment Modeling) meeting which will be held as in Santa Fe, New Mexico from June 26 - July 1, 2011. This year's Joint meeting is themed "Exploring Connections in the Geospace System," and looks to promote collaboration between the GEM and CEDAR communities. The GEM community studies the physics of the Earth's magnetosphere and its coupling to the solar wind and the Earth's atmosphere, while CEDAR focuses on the study of the Earth's upper atmosphere and aeronomy ![]() This workshop features a number of scientific and social opportunities for students.
