The 2012 NDSEG Fellowship competition will award approximately 200 new three-year graduate fellowships in April 2012. Fellows beginning tenure in 2012 receive a $30,500 annual stipend, $1,000 annual health insurance allowance, and full tuition and fees. NDSEG Fellows do not incur any military or other service obligation. The NDSEG program is open only to U.S. citizens and nationals, and is intended for students at or near the beginning of their graduate studies who intend to pursue their Ph.D. The application deadline is December 16, 2011.
