The difference in beam numbering is accounted for in the beam separation value in the hdw.dat file. For all of the other Southern Hemisphere radars, the beam separation is negative and beam 0 is the rightmost beam. However, for MCM & ZHO the beam separation is positive and beam 0 is the leftmost beam. However, the scanning scheme is still the same as the other Southern Hemisphere radars as MCM scans from beam 0 to beam 15 and ZHO scans from beam 15 to beam 0.
