Shortwave Fadeout(SWF) Monitor

This tool monitors shortwave fadeout events using echo count analysis from North American SuperDARN radars. It uses data from three Virginia Tech radars: Blackstone (BKS), Fort Hays West (FHW), and Fort Hays East (FHE). Archive data is available from 2017 to present, with regular processing of new data. We focus on periods when North America is on the dayside, since shortwave fadeout is a dayside phenomenon.
