Shortwave Fadeout(SWF) Monitor
This tool monitors shortwave fadeout events using echo count analysis from North American SuperDARN radars. It is currently under development and uses data from three Virginia Tech radars: Blackstone (BKS), Fort Hays West (FHW), and Fort Hays East (FHE). This tool is currently in development phase so, for testing purposes, only July 1st - 20th, 2024 data is available. We focus on periods when North America is on the dayside, since shortwave fadeout is a dayside phenomenon.

How to use: Click any colored date to open the detailed plot. Badges on tiles show dayside flare counts (e.g., "2M 1C"). Gray tiles mean no SWF was observed on the North America dayside (this includes nightside-only flare days). White tiles indicate no data file for that date.
